MEE Guidelines for Energy Auditing

Energy auditing subsidized by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy makes use of official guidelines. The bases for these are the MEE’s general guidelines for energy audits, which it endorses each year and which detail the instructions and requirements concerning service, industrial and energy sector energy auditing and reporting, the amount of auditing support and application for those carrying out auditing or applying for auditing support.

One condition for granting subsidies is that the implementation and reporting guidelines are adhered to. We present the model audit guidelines in the section on Energy audit models. The model for Renewable Energy Municipal Auditing and its implementation has separate guidelines.

The handbook for energy auditors presents such things as general instructions for the practical implementation of audits, background information and means for energy auditors. The energy auditors’ handbook is available for qualified energy auditors.
