Energy Audit’06 conference held in Lahti, Finland on September 11th - 13th 2006, aimed at presenting energy auditing as an effective and proven tool in improving energy efficiency in companies and buildings, as well as boost the integration of renewable energy sources in energy audit procedures and energy performance of buildings.

The Energy Audit ´06 Conference was one of the accompanying events of Finland’s term of EU Presidency. The Conference was organised by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Motiva Ltd. Its execution was also supported by the European Commission Intelligent Energy Europe Programme.
