Comparing Heating Systems

Choosing a heating system is one of the most far-reaching decisions in designing a small house. Once the system has been chosen it cannot easily or cheaply be altered later on. Heating options and energy finance planning greatly influences the comfort and use costs  of a small house. There is no one and right heating system for a small house, as all the systems available on the market have their good and bad sides.

Before choosing a heating system is it good to think about whether the houses heating needs can be reduced, for instance with better insulation or sealing. It is also worth thinking about whether to get a supplementary heating system to use alongside the main heating system.

Generally, when choosing a heating system builders will pay the most attention to the procurement and use costs, but it is also important to consider other things, such as environmental friendliness.
