The Climate Partners network, a joint organisation formed by business and the City of Helsinki and the City of Helsinki, increased its list of members on 26 September. 2012. At an event held at the Helsinki City Hall, Mayor of Helsinki, Jussi Pajunen, signed environmental commitments with the Aalto University, ABB, Bring Express, Gaia, Gasum, Green Net Finland, the University of Helsinki, the Helsinki Cooperative Society Elanto (HOK-Elanto), Itella, Kämp Group, Metropolia, Motiva Oy, Nordic Offset, Finland’s environmental administration, Sitra, and Yleisradio Oy (Yle).
11.9.2012 BEhavE 2012 Conference brings energy sector and consumer behaviour experts to Finland
On 20-21 September, a large international group of researchers and experts is gathering at the Cable Factory in Helsinki, forming a hub of consumer behaviour and promotion of energy efficiency. More than 60 speakers will throw light on how new technology, product and service innovations, official guidance and information can change people’s habits and attitudes to energy use.
The international conference on September 20th-21st, 2012 in Helsinki investigates the role of consumption behaviour, regulatory steering and support mechanisms, and innovative user-friendly solutions in terms of their contribution to energy efficiency and sustainable development.
