Kids4Future – Rainmakers Working for Sustainable Development

santeri-pulpetissaAs part of the Kids4Future project, classes of 9-12-year-old pupils in pilot schools around Europe use the Rainmakers book series to learn about sustainable development and ways to save energy. These highly motivating books were originally produced in Norway.
Participating schools can receive the books and related materials free of charge. Motiva provides guidance for teachers on how to make the most of these materials.

Special events and campaigns are also organised for schoolkids during the annual energy-saving week. Joining the Rainmakers scheme does not take up too much time or resources, and its themes are suitable for curriculum elements related to sustainable development.
