Rainmakers

Rainmakers is a series of adventure books and associated teaching methods for lessons on energy, designed for 9-12-year-olds. The three Rainmakers books motivate kids to find out about sustainable development and how to save energy in enjoyable ways.

The books also come with classroom exercises, an internet game, and a club which young rainmakers can join.

Who are the rainmakers?

The rainmakers are a bit like all of us humans, but they are very inquisitive and keen to find out about new things. They are very concerned about people, our environment and how it is suffering. They are also very clever, and they know a lot more about energy, the environment and our climate than most of us! What’s more, they understand the importance of having the right information to build a happy and safe future for all of us.

The international Kids4Future project

The Rainmakers books have been published as part of the “Kids4Future”project, which involves ten partner organisations from countries around Europe, who are each piloting the project in at least 20 schools.
