Eco-car of the Year

Spotlighting environmentally friendly cars

Ever year since 1996 a team of motor vehicle experts appointed by Motiva has selected an eco-car of the year, on the basis of new car models’ environmental impacts, particularly related to emissions and fuel consumption. Tests are conducted for the purposes of the award by the Finnish motoring magazine Tuulilasi.

The award aims to spotlight the advantages of favourable car models and increase public awareness of opportunities to reduce the environmental impacts and costs of driving.
