We warmly welcome you to study tour which will be held on 16-17
February, 2017 in Tampere, Finland. The study tour is organized by
Motiva as part of the international Bioenergy4Business-project.
first day morning of seminar covers presentations on biomass heating
and wood fuel logistics in Finland. Afternoon includes four site visits,
including heating plants using wood chips and pellets. They provide
heat to industry and district heating networks. Also an ash handling
facility will be visited.
The second day includes visits to two
district heating plants and one visit to heat entrepreneur operated
plant providing heat to thee industrial companies.
The 2-day event is targeted to key stakeholders in the field, e.g. public
authorities, decision makers, planners and practitioners in
municipalities, financial institutions, industry and research
Study tour is useful for experts working in
organizations who are planning to acquire a new heating system, or
replacing an old fossil fuel boiler in the range of 0,1 MW and up.

The seminar language is English and the attendance (incl. meals) is free of charge.
