Ac­cess­ib­il­ity Statement

This is the ac­cess­ib­il­ity statement for Motiva Oy motiva.fi service, created on November 20, 2025, and updated on May 15, 2026.

Introduction

We strive to ensure the accessibility of our service in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019). We are constantly working to rectify any accessibility issues, and this statement will be updated regularly as improvements are made.

The accessibility of the service is based on an assessment carried out by both our own team and an external expert organisation. The assessment is based on Level A of the WCAG 2.2 guidelines.

State of accessibility

The service does not fully comply with accessibility requirements.

Inaccessible content

  • Alternative text: Some images are missing descriptive alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1)
  • Videos: Some videos are missing subtitles (WCAG 1.2.2)
  • Headings: The heading structure on the website does not follow a logical order in all respects (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • PDF files: Some of the PDF files on the website are not accessible (WCAG 1.3.1)

Did you notice a lack of accessibility?

If you notice any accessibility issues on the website, please first provide feedback to the website administrators using the online form: https://www.motiva.fi/en/about-motiva/feedback. It may take up to 30 days to receive a reply. If you are not satisfied with the response you receive, or if you do not receive a response at all within two weeks, you can submit a report to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom).
