UUMA Cooperation Forum promotes resource-wise civil engineering

Reducing the environmental impact of civil engineering requires the use of recycled materials and the reduction of resource use – which can only be achieved through close cooperation and knowledge sharing.

The UUMA partnership is a unique model worldwide that has helped to develop guidelines and solutions for the construction of new land. Communication has played a key role in disseminating information, raising awareness and strengthening cooperation.

The UUMA programme brings together civil engineering companies, public authorities and research institutes. It promotes resource-wise construction and the use of sustainable materials and shares best practice in the sector. Motiva designs and implements the communication of the UUMA5 programme and is involved in the design and implementation of the UUMA Construction Procurement Process Work Package.
