Group Code of Ethics and En­vir­on­ment­al Plan

Motiva Group’s Code of Ethics is based on our values and the principles of responsible business and the UN Declaration of Human Rights. In our own operations, we respect the universal human rights as defined in the UN Declaration of Human Rights and promote their realisation in the environment in which we operate.

The company believes that universal fundamental rights include freedom of thought, expression, religion and peaceful assembly, and non-discrimination on the basis of race, age, nationality, gender or sexual orientation. We do not accept the use of forced or child labour or any other violation of human rights.

Motiva complies with local laws and regulations in all its activities and does not permit illegal activities.

Customers and partners

Motiva prohibits corruption and bribery in all its activities. Neither the company nor any person employed by it pays, offers or accepts bribes or illegal payments. We encourage all our business partners to adhere to ethically sustainable principles and treat all our business partners fairly and equally. Where appropriate, we require guarantees that our partners’ business activities meet these criteria.

Motiva does not support political party candidates, parties or political groupings or other ideological activities.

Our employees

We treat all employees fairly and equally, in line with our equality plan.

Employees are expected to promote the interests of the company and act responsibly. No person employed by Motiva may compete with the company. The disclosure of confidential customer and other information to third parties is strictly prohibited, as is the use of such information against the interests of the company.

Each employee is responsible for upholding ethical principles in his or her daily work. Motivators must avoid situations in which the interests of the Company conflict with the personal interests of the employee. Employees must not use their position in the Company or the information they obtain through their position or the Company’s assets for personal gain.
